About Me

Computer science and software development

I am a graduate of The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a concentration in Software Engineering. My academic work included software engineering, web development, databases, networking, Linux systems, and cloud computing.

Through my computer science coursework and projects, I have applied object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, database design, APIs, software testing, and full-stack development to practical software systems.

Before completing my computer science degree, I spent nearly a decade in customer-facing professional roles. Those experiences developed my communication, collaboration, organization, presentation, and problem-solving skills while working with people from many different backgrounds.

I am also pursuing Texas Computer Science 8–12 certification through iteachTEXAS and am interested in opportunities in software development, computer science education, and Career and Technical Education.

I enjoy solving problems, learning new systems, and connecting computer science concepts to practical applications.
